Meet Leon & Leona

The ICU European Cheerleading Championships 2026 have officially unveiled their mascots: Leon the Lion and Leona the Lioness, who will welcome athletes, coaches, and fans from across Europe to Prague this July.
Inspired by the Czech lion, one of the most recognizable symbols of the Czech Republic, the mascots represent courage, strength, pride, and determination – values shared by the sport of cheerleading itself.
Throughout the championship, Leon and Leona will appear at the Opening Ceremony, award presentations, fan zones, and special event activities at O₂ universum. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet the mascots, take photos, and join in the championship atmosphere.
