Czech Craftsmanship Meets Champions

This July, Europe's best cheerleaders won't just take home medals — they'll take home a piece of Czech craftsmanship history.
The ICU European Cheerleading Championship 2026 has unveiled its official trophies and medals, and they're as much art as they are awards. The trophies were handcrafted by Novotný Glass, a family-owned studio from Nový Bor — the heartland of Czech glassmaking. Each one features a striking hexagonal design, blending polished and frosted surfaces into something that feels both modern and rooted in centuries of tradition.
The medals are no afterthought either. Produced by SABE, a Czech manufacturer with over 35 years in sports awards, they measure a generous 8 cm — among the largest handed out at any European cheerleading event — and come paired with custom ribbons carrying the official championship branding.
Organizers say the goal was simple: create awards worthy of the prestige these athletes have earned. The result is exactly that — trophies and medals that aren't just symbols of victory, but keepsakes of Czech craftsmanship the champions will carry for life.
