Dear Athletes and Coaches,
Here is your second bulletin ahead of ICU European Cheerleading Championships 2026 Prague. It covers everything you need to know before you arrive — from eligibility documents to side events and practical venue info.
1. NATIONALITY & ID CHECK
Athletes representing a country different from their passport nationality must provide proof of at least 6 months of residency in the country they are representing. This requirement is outlined in the ICU Europe Rulebook, Section 2.2.
Please send all required documents to the ICU Europe Rules Committee before the event: rules@europeancheerunion.com
If you're unsure whether any of your athletes need to submit documentation, don't hesitate to contact the Rules Committee as soon as possible — it's always better to check in advance.
2. COACHES' VIEW
A staff member will accompany coaches throughout their team's performance, guiding them to one of two designated viewing spots:
Front row — directly in front of the elevated stage. Coaches may sit or kneel here. Please keep hands down at all times so as not to block the judges' line of sight.
Side area — positioned to the side of the stage. Coaches may sit or stand here.
Both spots are clearly marked — look out for the signs on the day.

3. MEAL PACKAGES
Pre-ordered meals will be served at the Athletes Restaurant at STAGES Hotel, conveniently located next to the venue.

Reserve your time slot To keep things running smoothly, coaches received an email to book a preferred meal time slot. Please choose a slot that best fits your team's competition schedule. Reservations are open until Monday, 29 June at 18:00 CEST.
Special dietary requirements The STAGES Hotel caters to a variety of dietary needs. If any of your athletes have specific requirements, coaches can submit them via the dedicated form shared by email — one per individual and date. Deadline: Monday, 29 June.
Vouchers Meal vouchers will be distributed to coaches at the Team Material Pick-Up Point on Thursday, 2 July at Hotel Stages.
4. PHOTO & VIDEO PACKAGES
Take home professional memories from your EU26 performance! We're pleased to offer the following packages:
📷 Photo Package — 60 EUR A minimum of 30 professional photos from your performance, delivered by email via download link on the day your team competes.
🎥 Team Video Review — 10 EUR The same performance video shown at the Video Replay point — full team, no cuts.
You'll also have the chance to take a team photo at the Photoplace booth inside the venue.
5. SIDE EVENTS
We've got a full programme of events happening alongside the competition — here's what to look forward to.
Opening Ceremony
The official Opening Ceremony of EU26 will take place on Friday, 3 July at 14:30 on the main stage. We kindly ask each country to nominate 2 athletes to participate in the Flag Parade.
📍 Meeting point: Entrance to the Warm-Up Area
🕐 Time: 13:30 (one hour before the ceremony)
Participants will receive their national flags and event instructions, and will proceed together to the backstage area.
Exchange Party — presented by Nfinity
Together with our event partner Nfinity, we warmly invite all athletes to join the traditional Exchange Party! It's a wonderful opportunity to meet fellow athletes from across Europe, exchange pins, make new friends, and celebrate together.

🕐 Approximately 20:30–21:30, following the Awards Ceremony
📍 Terrace of STAGES Hotel, next to the competition venue
Please note that the Exchange Party will take place only in favourable weather conditions.
The Athlete of the Year Award will also be presented during the Exchange Party.
Official After Party
Every championship deserves a proper celebration! We're pleased to invite all athletes aged 18+ to the Official After Party.

6. RESULTS & LIVE STREAM
Live Stream The competition and award ceremonies will be broadcast live on the Olympic Channel — so your fans back home won't miss a moment.
Results The fastest way to follow results is through the ICU Mobile App — the only platform with first-look access to all ICU championship results. Results will be published as soon as the award ceremony for each category is complete.

Semi-final results For categories with semi-finals (Friday: YP, YHH, JJ, SJ), finalists will be announced as soon as results are ready after the competition session ends. The same applies to categories competing on Saturday. Club contacts will be notified by email first, followed by announcements on the ICU App, the championship website, and social media — approximately one hour later.
7. PROHIBITED ITEMS
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, please make sure your team is aware of the following.
Not permitted inside the venue: Alcohol, pets, weapons (stabbing, cutting, or shooting), pepper spray, pyrotechnics, explosive and flammable substances, aerosol horns and other loud objects, illegal drugs, laser pointers, oversized bags (carry-on size only), baby strollers, your own food and drinks, and any objects that could cause damage to health or property.
Additional exceptions for the Warm-Up Area (Athletes Entrance): The following items are permitted in the warm-up area only: taping scissors, lighters, hairspray, cooling sprays, and first aid supplies.
Please note that while venue signage may display a broader list of restricted items, the organiser reserves the right to determine the definitive list of prohibited items for this event.
8. STORAGE & LOST ITEMS
Luggage storage O2 universum offers a deposit facility for valuables and large luggage. The depository is located on the left side of the O2 universum entrance, in the direction of Galerie Harfa shopping centre.

Lost & Found Lost something? Head to the Info Point on Floor 2, near the Photoplace booth, and our team will do their best to help.
9. BUS PARKING
Team drop-off is located between O2 universum and Hotel Stages, with a 15-minute limit for drop-off and pick-up.
For longer bus parking, the following options are available:
Praha 8 Karlín, Rohanské nábřeží 13/627 — ČSAD Praha holding a.s. (24/7) Parking Rohanský ostrov — entrance from the traffic light junction, on the unnamed street between Zábranská and U Mlýnského kanálu. Nearest metro station: Florenc (Line B), approx. 15-minute walk.
Praha 9 Letňany, near the PVA Letňany exhibition grounds, at the junction of Tupolevova and Beladova streets — Revital Servis, s.r.o. Close to a metro station (Line C).
